How to Talk to Women - 3 Simple Topics That Can Drown Out Dead Silences

Whether you are on a date with a woman, talking to a woman you have just met for the first time, or on the phone with her, those moments when you don't seem to have much of anything to say can be hard to deal with. You know that you need to make a good impression and you know that having too much dead silence is not going to help you out in that area. You don't have to worry about that too much, if you always have something that you can use to steer the conversation so that you do have something to talk about.

Here are three simple topics that you can use that will drown out those dead silences and give you something to talk about:

1. Talk about music with her.

I don't know why, but this is always a good "go to" when you don't have much to say. You can always bring up music and that should at least give you something to talk about for a bit. You might just make a quip about one of those songs that seems to be getting a little bit too much play on the radio. You might bring up an oldie but a goodie. As simple as it is to talk about music with a woman, it's an easy thing to do when you really don't have nothing else to say to her.

2. Talk about her friends.

This might sound a little stereotypical, but you know what? It usually works and that is what matters anyway. Most women will gladly talk about their friends, good and bad stuff and this can help you to drown out those awkward silences plus give you some insights as to what her friends are like which is something that you might want to know if you are going to be dating her.

3. Talk about her family.

Another good one as long as she doesn't have any family issues. If that is the case, then you might not want to bring up the family topic. Still, if she doesn't have any family issues that you know about, this is another good "go to" topic and it is another one that can give you some much needed insights if you are thinking about dating her. Just make sure that when you talk about your family, you don't come across as being too negative about them. Not that you would, it's just a good reminder to keep in mind.
